Speaking of Lake Farmpark, one of the demos we wanted to see was “Cowboy Ben” and his “amazing roping tricks”. Instead of the horse arena, however, they had Ben (who showed up 15 minutes late to a big crowd of small squirming children) in a theatre where he only had enough room to show one trick — how he can rope children. Yes, one by one every child (willingly) took his or her turn to be roped (some even got back in line to go again). Then the 83-year-old took questions from the handful of people who had stayed on the hope that he might possibly do something else (we were wrong). Strange.

Well, he’s 83. It probably took a lot out of him.
Good one!!!!!He’s lucky he still remembered how to get there! Is that mean? Too bad!
Maybe that’s why he was so late … anyhow, I guess I thought it was odd that he was roping children — not animals. And that the children wanted to be roped.
