What’s the point of having a security guard …

If they’re going to be texting on the job? I’ve never seen it so blatant as in the High Museum of Art in Atlanta. Probably 75% of the guards we saw were texting or whatever on their phones and not paying attention to anything else, let alone “guarding” anything. I have no doubt this happens at a lot of places, but how can it possibly be allowed?? (P.S. I  just sent an e-mail to the museum about this.)

    Shame, shame, shame. We are just becoming a weird society where the texting thing is way too accepted and part of everday life.

    I’d love to know if you hear something back from the museum. That is really shameful!!

    I heard back from the museum the same day. They were very apologetic and asked for more details so they could look into the matter further. I don’t think you’ll be seeing any texting guards there now!!
